Wow when I see the photo of you boat with it's cabin removed I realize the restoration on mine is not such a dauntin task as I sometime feel it is.

 Repairing planks.

If it were me, I would try where possible to cut the plank back far enough to allow the new piece to span a couple of ribs/frames.

If you are scarfing the joints you could cut the scarf so that the through fastenings go through the joint as well as the frame/rib.
