Texas Resorter

I have recently purchased a 1962 Century Resorter.

The previous owner had problems with the bottom taking on water,can you refer me to anybody in Dallas/Ft Worth that is familiar with repairing these boats?

Hugh, this boat may need an upgrade.

Post a picture, this will tell your readers a good idea of what’s up.

Fine boat still sought after so, take your time.

Mike has had a few of these boats on this site.

If you go on google look up your boat you may see it.

Back in the day gas was cheap and a little water here and there would make the wood to swell.

But wet wood on a planning hull cost money so that’s why I say a picture.

if its planked may need work metal flashing on the bow maybe, problem you may want to glass it to the water line.
