Strip planked hull on oak beams with mahogany superstructure & laid decking

She's currently located in Ibiza in San Antonio.

However, the cockpit seating area and cabin/cockpit bulkhead need replacing and the decking needs localised attention although ideally lifting and relaying.

She has a Yanmar 3GM diesel fitted around 2000.

Complete with 3 sails some electronics. Anodised aluminium spars, replaced S/S rigging recently. Some electronics.

Sails beautifully on all points of the wind and sailed New Years day 2019.

She's in desperate need of some TLC and thus would only be ideal for a retired shipwright or competent carpenter with the necessary skills to do the work.

She must be vacated from her berth at time of handover, as owner committing to newer boat.

Free to good home.

All expenses slippage, transportation etc at new owners expense.

My wife and I love this beautiful boat! We would love to give it the TLC it needs. We are on the verge of retirement.
Many years ago we restored a Swordfish sailing boat. Unfortunately when we moved we were so far away from water we had to give it to my brother who still sails it.
We would love to work on scorpio.

I have a Dutch Traveler staying with me due to not getting home to her villa in Ibiza due to Covid-19 restrictions.

My best friend (Mater my loyal rescue dog) and myself plan to sail around the world as soon as borders open again.

Mater has his Rabies shots etc and we are ready to go.

I am working on an old Timber Trawler at the moment I purchased for my friend with Cancer and have owned a 31 foot timber classic yacht prior.

Extensive sailing experience including Sydney to Hobarts and would love to give Scorpion the adventure experience we hope to share with others on our way.
