restoring Alcyone

Hi my name is Sarah.

My dad (Robert Spinks) loved boats and sailing on the Norfolk broads and at sea, he spent many months blood sweat and tears restoring his pride and joy the Alcyone.

Due to a series of strokes and dementia he could no longer sail, and unfortunately had to make the heartbreaking decision to sell his boat, A Seaking wooden sailing boat.

As you can imagine this broke his heart.
Unfortunately on October 1st 2017 my father passed away.

I’ve made it my mission to find my fathers boat and after 3 yrs of searching I’ve finally found Alcyone.

My mission is to have her restored to all her glory.

Alcyone is now home where she belongs.

I am aware of how much Alcyone will cost to be fully restored.

For people who have donated/sponsored. I will be putting their names on a plaque.
Once boat is finished they will go on Alcyone.
