Hi my name is Daniel, I have a question.

I am the owner of wooden boat, Trojan 1970 38 feet long and I want to paint the interior where the motor is seated.

Is its good are not?

And what percentage of humidity of the wood is better before painting the wood.

Yes, it's a good idea to paint or treat the wood in your bilge.

It protects your wood and makes it easy to clean.

There should be proper ventilation to take care of extra moisture in the air.
