LATEX EXTERIOR HULL PAINT

Been told that exterior latex porch/deck paint is hard and durable enough for a trailered boat.

Any experience?

I have used outdoor deck paint on my 20ft wooden sailboat for years.

It sets on the trailer when not in the water and hold ups just fine, although I do repaint scuff marks every year.

 Latex Boat Paint

I have heard of using latex paint and actually talked to the owner of a sail boat that was trailered and he used house paint.

The boat looked great and held up very well.

I would go with the best exterior house paint available.

There is also an example of a guy refurbishing a fiberglass center console boat with enamel he sprayed on.

Looked good but not sure what type of enamel.

You might be able to search it on The Hull Truth website.
