Joining short frames to the keel under the centerboard trunk

I am planning to begin restoration of a 26' Monomoy whaleboat.
I have a partial copy of the plans including lines and some details, but not a complete set.
Previous owners started and stopped this project many times, resulting in missing pieces and incomplete assemblies.
My major issue is how to tie the short frames to the keel along the centerboard trunk.
As the boat is now, the center section of the keel containing the centerboard slot has been removed but is sitting under the boat.
