I was reading a book and he mentioned some thing about "deck crown" what exactly is deck crown?

Camber is across the beam and crown is curve along the length.

Crown often follows sheer but in some cases needs to be lifted at the bow.

Deck crown is the slight curve or Camber built into the fore deck on most boats.
